August 29, 2008 - Rainbow colored bricks at Linky Stone Park

Rainbow colored bricks at Linky Stone Park in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 8/29/2008.
The last two day’s I have shared nighttime photos so today I choose to share a brightly colored photo taken during the day. The photo shows rainbow colored bricks at Linky Stone Park (map location) in downtown Greenville.

Ah, Denton, I thought perhaps you were doing a little square inch gardening from my impression of the thumbnail. The colored bricks are a lovely touch to this park’s lay out.

Linky Stone must’ve been quite a lady. There’s planned development near my neighborhood named in her honor as well.

C’est une bonne idée de mettre des briques très colorées !

Kim, a square inch garden. What a novel concept.

Galley, I have been to the park many times and never realized until your post that it was named after a lady. Thanks for sharing that.

Melanie44036, Merci. Les briques d’arc-en-ciel ont apporté un sourire à mon visage. Particulièrement quand j’ai trouvé un pot d’or à l’extrémité. (Thank you. The rainbow bricks brought a smile to my face. Especially when I found a pot of gold at the end).
