August 26, 2008 - Treegator - water like a pro

A treegator used to maximize the effect of watering. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 8/26/2008.
Although it rained yesterday and more rain is forecast for today Greenville remains in a very serious drought. Because of that I’m pleased to share a photo of these treegators in use behind the Peace Center. Every effort for water conservation helps.

Those bags are neat, I found a few places I can get them around here from your link. I may have to check them out.

I noticed some of them behind the Life is Good Company Shoppe in the West End the last time I was in Greenville and thought they were really neat. Hopefully you’re getting plenty of rain soon thanks to Fay and Gustav and won’t need them for much longer.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this. What a clever idea.
