August 19, 2008 - Rick Forest posing next to one of his murals

Rick Forest posing next to one of his murals at Linky Stone Park in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 8/19/2008.
I had a very enjoyable photo shoot at Linky Stone Park (map location) yesterday which I am pleased to share today … Rick Forest is adding a few additional murals to his collection at the park. For local readers I recommend you stop by and enjoy his art. I am especially impressed with Rick’s murals that wrap around the columns supporting the overpass which Linky Stone Park is under … For anyone interesting in contacting Rick you can reach him at (864) 246-7593 or by email.

I would like to say thank you to the parents for giving their permission to have the children appear.

PS: Check back in a week and I will share a photo of the murals Rick is working on.

Weboj, yes he is good. I understand he has been commissioned for murals all across the South. As far away as Baton rouge.

Janice, thank you. I appreciate that.

LavenderLady (Norma) yes it is always a treat to get to include children in a photo. I really am appreciative of their parents for giving permission.

Amber, thanks again for letting the kids be photographed. I’m very pleased you like our website and I hope you tell all your friends. There is a whole world of photographers sharing similar positive photos of the city where they live. All of us bringing the world closer together in understanding and compassion. To see a few you can visit the Daily Photo Map which I also publish.

Denton,
Thank you very much for allowing me to share my love of art through your wonderful
photography. The Wee Little Ones were absolutlely precious. They always seem to know
a grandpa when they see one and certainly made this old boys’ day a jewel.
Thanks again,
Rick
