Along with 100,000 people we enjoyed the 4th of July fireworks display in downtown Greenville. After watching the Wing Ding parade we grilled hamburgers; then we went out to enjoy the crowds, music, and fireworks display … Ann and Lynette asked so I’m sharing a few extra photos of the Wing Ding’s:

PS: The white pole is one of the two 90 foot towers on the Liberty Bridge in Falls Park. If you look closely you can see we were sitting in one of the swings under the bridge.

The blue one with the side car…now that would be a great way to travel with your kids. Nice photos.
My neighbors and I enjoyed “dueling fireworks”. The downtown Greenville show was visible from our back yard, while the Redemption World Outreach Center’s show was visible from the front yard.
great shot! Would you please show more fireworks and other photos of your 4th of July’s various events? Thanks, ann
How cool is that! We watched our fireworks from an empty parking lot and field (BUG CITY). I would have preferred a swing.
what fun! i went to the heritage park show…complete with the Greenville symphony orchestra and even cannons. this is one of my favorite holidays. some gold wingers stopped my boyfriend and me for directions…they had driven down from ontario!
I’ve enjoyed seeing all the fireworks on the portal – a bit belated, but happy independence day to you!
Great shots, Denton. One question, though. How did you manage to score such a great seat with all those people downtown???
LavenderLady (Norma), the color were very elaborate. The designs were elaborate as well. That and many of them had lights which were very impressive as well. Lots of fun.
Galley, it sounds like fun.
ann in alpharetta, thanks for asking, I will share a few extra photos on Monday.
Chris, we were very luck to get the swing. However, what was most enjoyable was that afterwards we walk two blocks and we were home. No traffic to fight is a very cool thing.
Kristi, we enjoy the GSO at every Opportunity. The 4th of July last year the GSO conductor, Maestro Edvard Tchivzhel, was decked out in Red White and Blue … On your Wind Ding comment: I understand that in addition to Canada all 50 states in the US were represented. Very impressive.
Jackie, thank you.
Marsha, we were just lucky to get our great seat. The only downside was that we were so close that some ash fell in our hair.
Excellent photos Denton…. as always. I love the blue motorcycle with sidecar. Once again, you never disappoint. Keep up the great work !!!
