This guy had the right idea … If you have a litter of puppies, which need to find homes, then take them to Main Street where the people are. There were lots of people looking and I suspect they all found homes in a short time … The photo was taken at the intersection of Main Street and Washington.

Today’s photo shows the BB&T drive-up (map location) at night. I found the symmetry and lighting interesting. Some my remember this previously posted photo showing a night view of the BB&T buildind.

As a follow-up to yesterday’s photo I’m sharing another fountain from downtown Greenville. This time the fountain and flame in front of the County Bank (map location). Some of you may remember this past photo of fire and ice in this same fountain.

Today’s photo plays with light again. I tried to capture the light in the water from the Westin Poinsett fountain. Some readers may remember this previously posted photo of the same fountain when it was frozen and this photo of the fountain at night with Christmas lights in the background.

My photos, the last few days, have been from a nighttime walk so I promised a day time photo today. Although the shot is dark it was actually around 5pm. It was that point in the day when you can find yourself walking next to a river, the Reedy River (map location) in my case, and if you look towards the sun you see pools of light, shimmering on the water, with darness in your proferial vision. I was impressed that my camera saw the scene in the same way I saw it.

One more photo from my nighttime photo hunt this last weekend. Then I promise I will move on to a few day time photos … Today’s photo is of the Coke-Cola building (map location) which houses a gallery extension from Bob Jones University. I understand the art is outstanding.

As a follow-up to yesterday’s photo, of Saint Mary’s Church, today I’m sharing of a photo of the basketball game which was underway behind the church. While taking this photo I learned that the best time to snap a basketball photo at night is at that point when the ball in hanging on the rim and everyone is holding their breath … Some of my readers may remember a previous photo I posted showing a different group of kids playing basketball on the same court in March of 2007.
