May 3, 2008 - Water in a drain at Falls Park

Water in the drains is a special treat helping keep Greenville, SC green. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 5/2/2008.
It is always a special treat to see water in the drains. Greenville has been fortunate to have some good rains lately which will help keep the Spring display of foliage green. Also, I am always impressed with the work the grounds crews at Falls Park does. The drain is decorative as well as functional. Some of you may remember this previously posted photo of another even more decorative drain at Falls Park.

Yes I agree with you Denton about the quality of care given to, not only Falls Park but also River Walk and the whole downtown area. It is a huge reason so many people love spending time downtown, including myself :-)
