April 24, 2008 - A photo shoot at Falls Park

A photo shoot at Falls Park in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 4/24/2008.
There was a photo shoot in Falls Park recently and I snapped this photo as I walked by. I think they said it was a publicity photo shoot.

Ann, not sure what the publicity is for. However, I suspect the gentleman is a singer, performer, or model and the photo is for his publicity.

Tanya, I think the private eye Sam Spade did not have these natural good looks.

Olivier, thanks for noticing the composition.

I was wondering what camera(s) you are currently using for Greenville Daily Photo. In fact, I would like to suggest adding a link in the sidebar with this information which you could then update when you change equipment. Many people would probably be interested. Of course, I realize the success of a site like this depends much more on the creativity of the photographer than on the specific equipment used! Another curiosity I have is, do you keep a camera with you at all times? Thank you for all the enjoyment you have been providing through your photos. I look forward each day to seeing your next one! I also enjoy clicking various links that lead through the ones from the past!

Bryan, in response to your questions:

I take my photos with a Sony A100 DSLR. The model has been discontinued and the closest model is now a A350 DSLR

I chose the Sony because it is the smallest DSLR I could find. This allows me to carry it most of the time. There are occasions when I don’t carry my camera however the occasions are few and far between. Even though the Sony is smaller it is still a handfull and certainly does not fit in your pocket like a point and shoot.
