We had a great time Sunday afternoon watching the School of Carolina Ballet Theater (CBT) perform at Artisphere. The crowd loved it especially the kids. You can see them lined up in front of the stage in one of the extra thumbnails shown below.

Denton, this certainly looks like a wonderful time for everyone. Your photos are so clear and inviting. Those of us who live where we can partake of such wonderful live performances and artists are truly blessed, aren’t we?

What a fabulous event that was. I love your photographs. The first captures so wonderfully the movement in the dance. Super.

Excellent photos Denton! Where were all of these spectators on Saturday when several great visiting performers were on stage? Did they forget about the clever and useful invention called an umbrella?
Lynette, you might find it interesting that Portland-based “Go Jump!” was in Greenville and performed as well. I have a few photos posted on my flickr photostream, in case you are interested in seeing them. ( http://flickr.com/photos/24638974@N06/ ) None of my photos are as nice as Denton’s fabulous daily work though.

I’m impressed that you were able to get this shot with their feet at those particular angles. As good as all your other shots!
