April 9, 2008 - The Barkery Bistro in downtown Greenville

The Barkery Bistro in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 4/9/2008.
Today’s photo shows the owners of The Barkery Bistro. They recently opened on Main Street … the concept is to bring your dogs, meet your friends, enjoy the bistro, shop their pet supplies, and leave with a smile on your face. There is a place for the dogs to play while you and your friends enjoy the bistro or shop for pet supplies. Following are a few extra photos showing more of the store:

Looking at your photos these last days, Greenville positively seems to be a great place to live in thanks to many nice and imaginative people! About your last shot, I know several Golden Retrivers and each of them is a lovely dog.

Splendid photos of a great looking spot in Greenville. I’ll bet they will stay busy.

You can’t keep me away from a dog photo, Denton and this is super. What an absolutely great idea. I’d always thought that because of hygiene laws dogs couldn’t enter a place where food and drink is served, so to read this is great news. Perhaps it’s cos it’s essential a dog establishment that happens to serve a coffee!

How great Greenville is. You continually post about such forward-thinking ideas in your town.

Just one of countless elements that make Greenville a first class place to live, yet it is very affordable. With nearby mountains, waterfalls, trout streams, lakes, and more, this city is perfectly positioned as a traveler’s destination and a nature-lover’s home.

This is a great addition to Main St., specially since downtown Greenville is dog friendly. I see that it is across from the Mast General Store.

Once I get moved to Greenville and get settled I plan to get another dog. I still miss my Bear so much it hurts.

Make sure to checkout the Greenville Humane Society if you do get another dog. They have a ton of gorgeous, very adoptable doggies looking for homes!!! =)

Lucy will come and visit her grandparents soon so that she can visit the new store. I love the dog pics you post!

What a splendid business idea! I know that I would visit that place often, if I lived there. You captured the personality of all four so very well!!

At first I read “Bakery Bistro”. What a great play on words!
