Last weekend I took this photo on a busy Sunday afternoon with lots of people out. You can see their pets, baby strollers, bicycles, and the pleasure of sharing an ice cream cone … I also like how the photo shows the importance of trees to the enjoyment of Greenville’s downtown.

I agree about the trees Denton. When I visited Greenville last year, the tree-lined main street and all the parks was what I was most impressed with. There’s hardly a tree in site in the downtown area where I live. All the greenspaces in Greenville provided such a relaxed, easygoing environment which I really enjoyed. I can’t wait to get back there this summer!

That looks like a great neighborhood. Our downtown does not have the room on the sidwalks for the trees or tables. Its something that would help businesses here. We have no central gathering place. Great picture.

One of the many things I love about Greenville downtown is the many trees. But there are many things about downtown which make it so great a place for people to spend time there. I would bet, that like myself, the very best thing about spending time downtown is the people.

That’s not just a neighborhood. It’s the very center of downtown Greenville with high rise buildings close by. I love that shot. The angle makes it look like downtown Greenville is in the middle of a forest.

This shows the energy of downtown Greenville. Love that it’s warm enough for ice cream! :)

Great photo, Denton! Just wait until those lovely trees turn green again. That is what I love most about Main Street… strolling, dining alfresco, window shopping, relaxing on a park bench, and everything else… under the shady green canopy. It is wonderful!

I like this picture and all of the action… and I’m a romantic sucker so that looks like a nice sweet gesture to me! (And it’s nice to see green and spring now- it’s still snowing here!)
