April 3, 2008 - Out on a limb, literally

A couple out on a limb, literally, in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 4/3/2008.
Earlier this week I took this photo of friends out on a limb, literally. Actually, as I was walking trough the park I saw these friends posing for a photo and I asked if I could take a photo as well … I was also pleased to find there was an international aspect in the photo. The couple said there are Slava and Lilia from Moldova .

PPS: Salva commented with a clarification. This was not a April Fools prank they are in fact from Moldova.

this anti-spam words on here crease me up
“glowing” it says and it was when I read about glowing rabbits that it clicked on me that Mitch was sending us up!

The couple look precarious - Moldovia is probably the case - it is between Bulgaria and Greece also bordering Romania.

The picture is really good, and i like it too…
You were right about the name of the country, it’s Moldova which borders Romania and Ukraine…

I’ve been to Falls Park a few times, and i enjoyed it every time. It’s very nice, and quiet… and i think it’s the best place to spend time with friends, and Lilia is a good friend of mine, since we both come from the same country!

Slava, please accept my apology for getting the story wrong. As you can see from my post I have attempted to line though the inaccuracies. I am very pleased I have to have meet two charming people from Moldova and even more pleased that you enjoy Greenville.

The photo of two lovely young people complements the wonderful story. As previous bloggers have indicated, I was totally taken in by Mitch’s story–hook, line, and sinker.

I just returned to Nebraska after helping to move my daughter and her family to Simpsonville. Her husband started his new job at Erwin-Penland located in beautiful downtown Greenville. I absolutely loved it there. The flowering trees and water, etc, were so wonderful Now, I want to move there. I’m an artist and the scenery is so inspiring.
