March 30, 2008 - Yellow flowers and blue stained glass on a sunny day

Yellow flowers and blue stained glass on a sunny day in Greenville, Sc. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 3/30/2008.
This photo was taken a few days ago before the rain clouds rolled in. However, I thought this photo would be a good one to share for a rainy weekend and a Sunday morning … After all without the rain we would not have these beautiful colorful plants … The photo was taken at John Wesley United Methodist Church‎ in downtown Greenville.

Beautiful shot, Denton! I do so love spring flowers. . . .The forsythia are really blooming here, too.

I see George Clooney was in Greenville this weekend to premiere Leatherheads. Did you get anywhere near him?

My wife and I were commenting that the forsythia in Greenville this year is the most beautiful we have ever seen. Makes one wonder what the rest of spring holds and whether the drought forced plants to dig down and pull out their best.

Chris, thanks. No I missed Clooney’s press conference. Sadly I was not aware. I did visit with a local artist who plans to auction, for charity, a painting of Renee Zellweger. Renee liked the painting and signed it which should greatly increase the value. Hopefully I will post a photo of the painting and artist later this week.

Ann, I’m glad you liked the photo.

Mark, the colors really are vivid this year. Hopefully we can share many more Spring photos.

Neva, thanks. Hang in there Spring will arrive in Illinois soon.
