This peach orchard is off highway 101 and as you can see the peach trees are in the pink. Not only are they beautiful they are at an important stage in their development. Yesterday evening I stopped at this orchard and visited with the owner Ed Antley. Ed along with many other growers place South Carolina second the nation for peach production. In the US, only California produces more peaches … It will not be long before fresh peachs are sold in stands on the side of the road all around Greenville … Following are a few extra photos from Ed’s orchard:

thank you for sharing these beautiful photos …
Beautiful. Thanks for capturing these views.
When I was growing up (NE Ohio), we had apple, peach, cherry and pear trees in our yard, and there were a lot of apple orchards in the area. I have never seen a peach orchard though. How beautiful.
Thank you for your advice with my photo problem this week. I am uploading differently so the photos are showing. . . . ;-)
You’ve got a fine photo of a promise here, Denton, the promise of juicy, delicious peaches to come. Wow. All of the additional photos are beautiful, too. And thanks for enjoying my ABC Wednesday story, too.
This is a stunning photo! It made my day.
Thanks, Denton.
Beautiful photos!
