March 8, 2008 - A rainbow peace flag waving in downtown Greenville

A rainbow peace flag waving in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 3/8/2008.
This rainbow peace flag waves in downtown Greenville. The flag flies on a deck which is on top of a condo which is on top of a place of business in the Historic West End of downtown Greenville.

An interesting photographic tidbit on this photo. In the original photo the flags where flying from right to left. I used Photoshop to flip them to the more traditional presentation of flying from left to right. But what is most impressive is that the PACE message was flipped as well. Check out the original photo and notice the difference.

PS: PACE is Italian for Peace.

This is an interesting technique which you described. I think I’d like to get one of those Peace flags. PS. Check your commentary because there is a typo in the “peace message.” Have a great Saturday, or should I say sabado now?!

Kate, it is not a typo. Pace is peace in Italian.

How odd that the original photo is the one that looks backwards to me now!

And a little tidbit for you: “paz” is Spanish for peace!

Great big WOW, Denton. In fact, double WOW for this photo’s being your next few days’ inspiration and for the flipping with Photoshop’s results.
