I have found that construction sites offer photo opportunities with scenes which are short term and will not be seen again … For example today’s photo shows part of the City Center parking garage wall with the Peace Center in the background. The City Center is being demolished and a new hotel is planned. You may remember my previous post showing equipment at the Construction site across from the Peace Center.

You’re so right, Denton. Some days I wish for much more time to watch and photograph such goings on here in Portland. I hoping to get the chance on some of the upcoming weekends to do just that. Thanks for spurring me on towards that goal with your photo today.
My little one loved this picture! She and I walk from our home down to feed the ducks several times a week and she knew exactly where the shot came from!
nice work-Enjoy the beautiful day!
aha…a hotel! i wondered what was going on (or up) ;). thanks!
That is so true about construction sites. They are different every time. They are doing quite a bit of construction here in downtown and it amazes me how different it is every time I go down there.
Lynette, I especially like construction sites during the demolition phase.
Stephanie, I am so pleased that your little one enjoys our photo.
Kristi, I think it is going to be a Court Yard Marriott hotel.
Helen, your photos of Albuquerque have such wonderful backdrops of nature.
