A while back I shared some photos from a First Friday Art Crawl a group of our friends enjoyed in the Pendleton Street area. This weekend I stopped back in the area to take a photo of the buildings. I like the colors … Today’s photo is of the Pendleton Store and Gym.
Following are few photos previously posted from the Pendleton Street area:![]()

I like the colors of the brick….the way the light hits the building is very nice….but then you are an awesome photographer!!!
Are these junctions still functioning? I suddenly remember Charlotte’s web from them. Good day!
They obviously collaborated on the painting. The white side has red trim, the red side has white. What great neighbors!
Denton, do you remember the three signs we had on our place?
One contained the word Palate the other had the word Pallet and the third was Pallette.
I wish we had taken a picture of those before they came down.
Best regards to Connie,
Jim & Barbara
Love this photo. The colors set against the sky and awnings. Great eye.
That’s a really striking image there – I love the strong lines and contrasting colours.
Neva, thanks the light was perfect
Leonda, I suspect both shops were purchased by the same artist. Both are un-occupied are present.
willemjim, yes I remember your signs and most likely have photos of them in my archives. As time allows I will look to see. In the mean time you can visit this past post showing your Pallet sign.
Lessie, thanks.
Jackie, thanks.
The light on this building is absolutely beautiful. I would sure like to be there for the art crawl.
Always you have interesting, well-shot, wonderfully texted posts, Denton. I have to say that this photo is one of my favorites. Thanks for posting it and for showing us the light. And thanks for visiting my blog.
