It is my understanding that Townes Square not only celebrates the accomplishments of Charles Townes, who was born in Greenville and received a Nobel Prize for his formulas which lead to the invention of the laser. The square also celebrates the idea that many great ideas come about while sitting on a bench and enjoying the park. I thought today’s photo demonstrated the concept.

reminds me of Pearl Street mall in Boulder Co. Also kind of reminds me of a saying I think I heard from my grandmother…someimes I sit and think, other times I just sit.

Abe, the anti-spam word matches very well in this case. However, as I mentioned to another reader recently, I control the list of anti-spam words which WordPress selects from randomly. I chose words which were complementary of photos or specific to downtown where I taken 90% of my photos. So no real magic was involved.
