Today I’m continuing the nature theme from yesterday. Today’s photo shows hints of Spring in the rocks next to the Reedy River in downtown Greenville. I took the photo yesterday and you can see some blossoms are considering an appearance … Any suggestions of a metaphor for this photo.
PS: City Daily Photo bloggers please read this request: Collaboration, your photos at an international conference.

I really like this photo, specially with the bird overseeing his kingdom from the top of the rock :-)
How about UP.
Here is my shot at a metaphor… (or something that I think is a metaphor)
In life, there is that which is hard and unyielding, and that which is soft and inviting, there is stability and immobility, while there is motion and flight.
Well, no Faulkner here… :)
ann in Alpharetta, very good. I also like how the bird is overseeing all that is before him/her.
Annie, also very good. Connie said the metaphor is “Denton and Connie are rock solid in their love for each other”.
Wayne, you see more than most. Very impressive. Personally I do better to with photos than metaphors. However, I can see the benefit of using an image in a presentation to make a point.
How I love to see the blue sky and the yellow flowers at the ground. I’m looking forward to the coming spring :)
