Ann, a frequent visitor at GreenvilleDailyPhoto, suggested photos of the bells. Today’s photo was taken a few days ago on a sunny Winter day. Some of you may remember this previous post showing the bells during the summer. For those walking down Main Street be sure and listen then look up at the intersection of Main and McBee … On this same subject a neighbor and friend (Ginny Passe) shared a photo of an opossum up a tree in downtown Greenville. So don’t just look down for the mice sculptures on Main Street look up into the trees as well.

Thanks Denton for sharing “your” photo of the bells in the tree including the one you took previously in summer, which I must have missed that one somehow!! :-)
That possum up the tree looks like it might have been downtown? Weird!
Is this something that was planned or part of a grander plan? I saw chimes like this at the cemetery downtown when I when on a photowalk with fellow photographers.
A possum in a tree, in downtown Greenville, in broad daylight? That is a rarity, they are nocturnal, after all.
Cool! So weird. I have HEARD them and couldn’t find them! Will know to look UP next time! :)
probably sound lovely unlike trees that we have around :).
