A small part of an airport mural in Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 2/3/3008.
Today I share a small portion of a brightly colored mural at the Greenville airport. A sign next to the mural states that the mural was created by Carl Tait and is titled “Our Wonderful World”. The sign goes on to explain the mural starts with a mysterious darkness, partials, and atoms. Then it progresses through the evolution of the world. The portion shown in today’s photo included people of the world. The mural ends with the sky, stars, and the moon … I recommend local readers visit the airport and spend some time matching the description provided by Carl Tait with the detail of the mural.

You might also be interested to see a previous post which shows a portion of a different mural by Carl Tait. Of specific interest are two comments from relatives of his one of which says “Carl Tait is still painting at 89 years old and loves his work. He would be so proud to know that people appreciate his art after all these years.”
