This photo of Main Street shows there was dense fog in downtown Greenville yesterday. I took this photo on my walk to work and was pleased with how it turned out. Specifically; I like the perspective from the middle of the street and the ornamental lights on the bridge.

It was a rainy day in Greenville yesterday as shown by this photo of the Charles Townes statue in downtown Greenville. Charles Townes is a Greenville resident best know as a Nobel prize winner for his formulas which lead to the invention of the laser. Today’s photo shows part of the statue depicting the envelope on which he wrote the formula … I think the world was fortunate it was not raining on the day when the formula was originally written.

Yesterday the snow fell again in Greenville however this time it melted before it reached the ground. Today’s photo was taken on our condo balcony. Some of your may remember this previously posted photo showing the furniture on our condo balcony.

The sun came out yesterday and with the warmer temperatures most of the snow melted. However, given Greenville has additional snow forecast for today I thought I would share another photo of the snow. On Thursday I took this photo of a bridge railing in downtown Greenville. Personally I like the perspective.

Yesterday I shared a photo of water in motion and today I’m sharing a photo of frozen water in motion … It appears to me that everyone, including myself, had fun playing in the snow … Following are a few extra photos. Click on the thumbnails to view larger images.
