One of Greenville’s projects is called Rails to Trails. You can see from this photo where the rails have been removed on an old abandoned rail road near downtown. More tomorrow on this subject.

interesting photo, it evokes somethiing but too early in the morning and i have to go to a job right now…I will have to look at it again another time.
I like this picture. Imagine being a kid walking down the tracks. Looks like you can do it again soon and not worry about a train creeping up.
Suddenly I have an image of people running along the old trackline saying, “choo, choo”.
Trust me, you don’t want to be walking on this particular section of tracks. The whole thing could collapse at any minute.
