		<description>According to the SC National Register&#039;s architectural picture, the original sign was in fact HOTEL Poinsett.  Go to the SCNR website:  http://www.nationalregister.sc.gov/greenville/S10817723029/pages/S1081772302901.htm for architectural photos.  Choose the FIRST picture (Right Oblique) .. it clearly shows the sign in the daylight - and it&#039;s red.</description>
