Orange and yellow ladders at the Greenville Airport in Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 1/31/2008.
Recently, while at the Greenville Airport I found this scene interesting. In particular I like the colors and the uniqueness of a fairly normal scene … Also, some of you may remember the collage I posted previously of the colorful rectangles at the airport which appear in the background of today’s photo.

Having fun at night in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 1/30/2008.
Okay, I admit my ignorance on this subject. I assume the custome is of a character from the Harry Potter phenomena. Or did I meet a real wizard and should I be worried about residual spells?

PS: I have been corrected.  Apparently this is a ?”Cat in The Hat” costume … Thank you Tigerlily for the clarification.

Even though we have had snow, rain, and fog recently many days the clouds blow away and the sky is crisp and clear. This photo shows blue skies above the courthouse on Main Street in downtown Greenville. I would love to receive some additional moisture however sunny skies make for brighter photos.

This door is at the Go Fish store in downtown Greenville. For those following our blog you will know that Go Fish is one of my favorite stores and where I bought my giraffe. They offer so many colorful products, they provide a benefit to society, and now you know they have a mysterious door as well … Drop by, take a look around at their merchandize, and tell the friendly people there that the GreenvilleDailyPhoto guy said hello.

Even with the cold weather there are Winter flowers at Falls Park. You have to look for them because they are often placed behind bushes, rocks, or walls. I assume this is to to protect the flowers.

Yes this is the The in The Greenville News. I am sharing it today because of the moisture which it shows. Some of you may recognize the script used in the headlines of yesterday’s photo of The Greenville News … This photo was taken recently showing melting snow on part of the sign outside The Greenville News building in downtown Greenville.

Don’t Panic

Investors are urged not to panic in the newspaper delivered to a downtown location in Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 1/25/2008.
On my walk to work, Wednesday morning, I found the headlines in this newspaper interesting. As we all know there are concerns about recession and the experts are urging investors not to panic. In addition to this wise advice there was good news:

  • Clemson won
  • Diabetes is cured by obesity surgery
  • There were a couple of good movies this year
  • and most importantly it was wet enough to require a plastic cover when delivering the news paper
