We celebrated Christmas early with our daughter and son-in-law. On Sunday we honored family tradition and made Christmas tamales then exchanged gifts … So Connie and I had a quite Christmas, we had hot chocolate in the morning, went for a walk, made pot roast, baked a cake, then best of all we watched “It’s a Wonderful Life” for possibly the 100th time … You may remember the giraffe from previous post. The photo, above the TV, is of our daughter on her wedding. The Murphy bed to the left of the TV, is a massage bed by Megun, and the quilt covers my feet … I hope your Christmas was as special as ours was.

“It’s a Wonderful Life” is my husband’s favorite movie, and I have to admit that I like it a lot, too. I think that it should be required viewing of all children simply to show them that each person is important and has some influence. It has such a wonderful message. It’s funny how it didn’t really catch on until it cable TV brought it back to public attention.
