The Christmas Parade was held last night in downtown Greenville. I tried to focus my camera’s attention on the crowd. The photo I chose to share was of the crowd waving to Santa. I also enjoyed the unique ways people found to get high enough to see over the crowd. These girls stood on Christmas presents under Greenville’s public tree. These boys stood on the railing around the bushes along Main Street. These mothers brought their bady strollers. … But most of all I enjoyed the smiles in the crowd.

Hi, Denton. Thanks for dropping by my blog, The bridge is located (or will be when completed) between Maple Ridge and Langley over the Fraser River in british Columbia, my picture shows the approach to the main bridge on the Maple Ridge side of the river… yes, on dry land. The river is a navigation river and bridges have to be high, hence the long approach section of bridge
My daughter is in Maple ridge at these blogs

What a wonderful holiday scene. That is a sweet picture, no doubt. In fact all of them were very nice. I especially like the one of all the smiles in the crowd. Beautiful.
Thanks,
Wayne
And thanks, again, Denton for your generous time in answering my questions. There is so much there, I will be re-reading it again later, so I can soak it all up.

At our Christmas Parade I too waved at Santa; hollered out “Santa, remember me, I’ve been good!”
