This photo shows the Falls Lake Fall sculpture in downtown Greenville. You may remember this recently posted photo of the fountain the sculpture stands in.

Beautiful–I love the contrast of the sky and the darkness of the trunk/post and the gold patterns on the glassy bit. Lovely sculpture!
GREAT photo Denton.
Wow, I’ve never seen it shine like that!
Denton, how in the world did you get this photo at this angle? Was Connie holding onto you for dear life as you leaned in over the water? However you got this fabulous photo, I am thrilled that you did it. Wow.
About the barricades, I didn’t even think of where I was in relation to the way things are today–I just snapped several photos. I even walked down past the tree that you can see at the far end of the row of barricades, sat on one of them and took a photo of something on the building’s wall for another potential CDPB photo. It was not until I got to work the next day that it dawned on me that I could have been looking might suspicious to someone. I need to think a little less creatively in some situations–you’re so right.
It stands out so nicely against that evening sky–I’m guessing evening?
Cool!
Denton, nice work on turning the tables on our perspective. You inspire me to tale a little more time in the field, and think of OTHER ways to shoot the same image!
Thanks,
Wayne
Happy Thanksgiving!
What a lovely, luminous shot of this sculpture!
