On Saturday night Halloween costumes were everywhere on Main Street in downtown Greenville … On Saturday evening went to the symphony then to High Cotton for a drink. We met some friends and from there went on to the Blue Martini where a costume contest was underway. We were the couple dressed for the symphony … Today’s photo is of Mario, Luigi, and Bat Woman … Following are several additional photos from the costume contest.

My African Grey, Tashi still sings the Mario music. We have not had that game in the house for several years and frankly I can’t believe she remembers it!

Soooo, what did you and Connie dress up as?

Kate, yes it appears they spent some money on their costumes. It appears all were professional.

Ann, it was actually very fun.

Jim, I have memories of playing Mario with my kids. I also have memories or playing pong so that really dates me.

Helen, I don’t think I would want to hear the Mario music without playing the game. Tashi sounds like a special bird.

Zsolt, I don’t know if celebrate is the right word but we surly have a lot of fun with Halloween. I look forward to photos from your similar event in February.

Curly, yes several of the young ladies were “arresting” in their costume. I found the ladies FBI costume to be the most “arresting”.

Leonda, we went as the older couple dressed for the symphony. I have on a sports coat with a nice tie. Connie had on an evening dress with a shawl. I carried my camera and when I asked people if I could take their photos they all said yes then posed. I think they thought I might be from somewhere important like GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com

Batwoman does strike a fetching pose. Curly and I agree on that.

Great photos of the costumes.

Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog. About that Cranberry walk photo - it was a bit cold but the young lady was wearing gloves (when she wasn’t asking me to hold onto them or carry her cranberries or her walking stick - so I think the walk was a bit hard on me than her).
