After several days of overcast sky with light rain showers (which we are very thankful for) the sun returned to Greenville yesterday. As a result I am sharing this photo of an elevated caution cone with the Bank of America building and blue skies in the background … You may remeber these past construction cone photos here and here.

Interesting composition. Very colourful too.

The perspective takes this ordinary scene to new heights indeed.

I am glad to see the improvement coming to Laurens Street. It has been much needed and the new $1-2 million condos (building with the balconies over the sidewalk) will be a welcome addition to that part of downtown as well.
The rain really did clean the atmosphere yesterday. Nice shot.

Great photo composition.

Gosh Denton did you lay down on the sidewalk to get this shot :-)

I was wondering the same thing as Ann!? I do like the POV and the colors here!

Rich, I was pleased with how the photo turned out. Thank you.
Annie, yes the perspective was very important to the photo. However was the first I had ever seen an elevated caution cone.
Justin, I agree. Personally I think Greenville’s downtown will continue growth off of Main Street in the years to come. It will certainly make walking more interesting.
NorthBayPhoto, thank you. I was actually very pleased with the Bank of American building in the background.
Ann, I took the photo blind. I held the camera about two inches off the sidewalk. Let it auto focus and then snapped away. Interestingly there was very little cropping on this photo. So I guess I was very lucky.
Helen, thank you.
