Greenville is in need of rain so we are all watching the clouds. This one, with a little help from the sun, was putting on a display … I also took a photo of these same rays of sun from the Piazza Bergamo.

What a fine photo! I especially like the shape of the photo in relation to the clouds. Thanks, Denton.

Thank you so much for sharing this! That made my day.

Oh My! as my spam word indicates “artistic” is the hand of God, and yours for capturing such a beautiful sight.

Scenes like this surely have served as inspiration for many many artists. I’m not an artist but I think it’ll be my inspiration for today.

Heavenly! I especially love the one with the silhouetted bridge building at the Piazza Bergamo. The sun may be setting on that building’s existence, so your shot is extra special as an artistic memory.

Looks like light from heaven.

That is like a scene out of the movie Moses! I totally expect a voice to come booming out of the clouds at any moment. Cool.

I wish I could send you some of what we just had…but you would not have wanted the wind…driving wind and rain. The photo is beautiful.

My word was “bright”.
Every cloud has a silver lining they say - and you have proved it - an inspiring shot I say - Bravo!!!

Lynette, I don’t normally have to do a lot of cropping but on this photo I admit that I cropped a little.
Virginia, I’m flattered and especially pleased my photo made your day.
Ann, thank you.
Annie, I once read a comment from Sam Javanrouh, who publishes daily dose of imagery from Toronto. I have a lot of respect for Sam’s photographic skills and he said something to the effect that he tries to take full advantage of rays of sunlight.
Justin, thank you. I started to post the Piazza Bergamo shot first but then chose to include it as a link. I need to take several pictures before they start the building is gone.
Barb, yes I agree.
Lessie, good insight. I had not thought of that but you are right.
Lavender Lady (Norma), logically I know the South East is in a serious drought. But having originally come from Texas and Oklahoma it is hard to think of this as serious … I think what makes the difference is the number of people involved … Atlanta is truly in a serious situation.
Jules, thank you.
