This business is in a beautiful house in downtown Greenville … Several years ago this house was a restaurant called Seven Oaks. We celebrated my youngest daughter’s high school graduation here.

I imagine that your entire family had a wonderful time at her graduation. It’s a lovely house which must have made for some fine memories.

“Wealth Management”- that’s not a term they use in the UK. I would imagine that’s the same as “Financial Adviser” or something like that. Looks like they’ve managed their own wealth fairly well. A good advert I suppose… Interesting building :-)

I thought this was Seven Oaks and was at first a little confused about the sign until I read the caption. I didn’t realize the restaurant was no longer in business. My parents dined there and still talk about it. Either way, it’s a magnificent place!

That is a fine looking house and it would be a nice place for any event. It sounds like people enjoyed it as a restaurant and I wonder why it went out of business? I suppose competition from fast food places.

Lynette, we had a great time at Seven Oaks. In addition to my daughter’s graduation calibration we also attended a wedding reception there as well.
Rich, I think “financial adviser” is a common term here as well.
Jules, I’m glad your back and will let you know when the postcard arrives … As an explanation for the rest my readers. Jules publishes the Rabaul (Papua New Guinea) daily photo blog. I recently published post for Jules while she was on vacation in Hanoi.
Kristi, many memories were made in Seven Oaks.
Abe, I’m not knowledgeable of why Seven Oaks is no longer in business … However, it fairly sure it was not the fast food places. Downtown Greenville has several upscale restaurants and all appear to be doing well … It maybe the owners wanted to retire.
Neva, the inside was very nice and I’m sure it is even better now … I’ll stop by on Saturday to help you celebrate.
