A group of us went to the Moonlight Movies last night. The Birds, by Alfred Hitchcock, was showing so I thought this photo was appropriate. Following are a few extra photos of the birds.

ohh that movie was very scary to me!

I never thought a duck could look so, well, sinister. Or maybe it’s the memory of the film colouring my judgment.
What an incredible setting in which to watch such a classic film. Brilliant photo.

I was not able to go last night. Now I am glad. If I had been there, I might begin to have nightmares about ducks on the Reedy River!
Neva said,
I remember seeing The Birds when it was first out and it scared me to death…now…not so much!
Leonda said,
I am with Connie and Rich. The ducks are - GREEN!! And yes, I remember the movie, hope these ducks were well behaved.

Zsolt, we laughed through most of the movie. It was very campy. But I remember being quite scared as a child by this movie.
Rich, yes the duck was sinister and it has only one leg … Thank you.
Ian, the ducks are wild however they have figured out that there next meal will come from a picnic basket.
Ann, thank you. I had fun taking the photos.
Steve, thank you. I had the idea to try and catch a bird with the screen in the background. A pigeon or a goose would have been better than a duck given ducks are not very sinister.
Connie, very scary indeed.
Neva, most of it was very campy. Maybe it was the wine or the company but we laughed more than we should have.
Leonda, green is what the camera sees when held so close to the grass. Actually the duck was very aggressive. But it was looking for food not to harm me.
