Well, Denton, we are under the same sign! I just celebrated my special day on 9/11, which isn’t the greatest anniversary anymore. Hope that you have a happy day and a good week-end. Portrait of the dog is very appealing!

Love how the two dogs are OBVIOUSLY nowhere close in size, yet they are best buds. I have a female Pit bull (and now a male too!!) but before we got the male to keep her company her best friend was (and she still gets to see him from time to time) a chiuaua! They loved each other…and it was very comical to watch them play, as the tiny chiuaua bossed my big pit bull around!
To the previous post, The collar only looks like it would hurt (we have one)… it’s a prong collar and if you’ve ever had a pit bull or similar animal you’ll realize they tend to be neccessary unless you want your dog to jerk the leash away and be gone forever. It doesnt hurt the pups a bit (and we ONLY have it on when we are walking them….not as an everyday collar!!)
one more thing…. I am not sure if the big dog in the photo is a full blooded pit, but it seems to have some pit in it at least. And it makes me very happy to see it in a photo that isn’t depicting it as a brutal beast…they are actually VERY loving and sweet (if raised accordingly..and DO NOT randomly turn unless taught to do so!) …so sweet in fact, one wasn’t enough for me…I have TWO!

I survived the Greek fires. Actually I was in the Islands (Kos, Crete and Mykonos) where there were no fires; only the island of Evia was somehow affected. I’m glad to be back and catch up some of the beautiful posts you have here.

Lyntte, I don’t think Mother was involved with photography although she did some arts and crafts sorts of things. What I think we inherited from Mother was a since of adventure and a drive to be accomplish. What I inherited from Dad was my good looks (smile).
