Qi Mountain, not your typical sports gym, is opening a store front in the Historic West End of downtown Greenville. Connie and I have talked about it and we plan to give the experience a try … My sister, Leonda, says that she has tried meditation however when the instructor asked them to visualize a garden she could not use her garden because she only saw weeds which needed to be pulled … I need to be quick to say that Leonda’s garden is outstanding and any weed which appears has a very short life … Leonda visualized a garden where a staff of gardeners were paid to keep it perfect.
August 25, 2007 - Qi Mountain, we are going to give it a try

Great photo Denton. The vision of moving/stretching the body looks wonderful. I can almost feel myself stretching :-) I can see myself there and my visualization would be sitting next to the Reedy River by the waterfalls in early morning, comfortably cool air with a slight soft breeze. Ahhhhhh!

Hot patching tubes is something that would reveal your age and you must be around mine. We are old timers but I feel young most of the time. For the life of me I am no longer able to remember the kind of artificial rubber they used to make inner tubes out of during the war. I know it wouldn’t stretch good enough to make sling shots with and I also know that they had a tendency to blow out faster than old rubber inner tubes.
Those were the days.
Thanks for stopping and commenting.
Also, I really like the posters or artwork on the windows. I am always reminded of how we used to work, ages ago, making signs for NCR Corp. These are a lot nicer. Good luck if you join the new group there.

Nice shot. You’ll have to let us know how the experience goes. Maybe you’ll imagine a scene where the lighting is always perfect and everything is always in focus. I think I would be a little like your sister, I would imagine taking a nice photo and then at the last second having a car or person zoom in front to throw everything off balance!
Have a good weekend and thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog.
