I took this photo at a recent event and held off on posting it until today. Originally I felt the photo was too busy. However it grew on me and I have now chosen to share it … Do you also take photos which it takes looking at several times before you decide you like them?

Very nice, glad you posted this one.
And yes, I hold on to photos for quite some time before I decide to post them. They too have to grow on me.
Yes i often keep pulling a photo in and out in two minds whether to share it or not ;o]
First of all this one it’s a wonderful night shot with crisp lights and nice reflection ( I love the sky too). Then yes, to reply to your question, me too I have some shot that requires to grow into myself before to publish it. It happened that when ready to share it…. It’s too late because taken in previous season ;-)
I love this photo. Not only is it technically really good, but I love the feeling I get by seeing people in it…it is a quiet, peaceful, joyful feeling. Thanks for sharing.
Yes some photos grow on us, and then some we initially like we may decide we don’t like…of course i am talking about our own photos. Happy Monday everyone.
I like photos that cause me to have a second look…glad you decided to share.
I am glad that you finally decided to share it:) Its a great photo, especially with these lights.
wow i love how the light reflect on the river
Great photo. Love the reflection.
I know what you mean about a photo growing on you (or sometimes you like a photo and as you look at it longer or again and again, you like it more and more).
Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog.
Wow… I am not kidding when I say that just looking at this picture makes me want to move there. It really conveys a feeling of tranquility, and it is easy to imagine that it was taken on a lovely, warm, breezy evening.
Beautiful… Glad you shared it. :)
I like this photo too — glad it grew on you enough to post.
I’ve had a few photos that have grown on me. However one jumps out of my memory.
I was playing with “dragging the shutter” at a concert, turned off my flash, but forgot to bump my ISO and exposure bias back up. I saw a good shot, took it, and luckily some of the bands strobes went off. I took one look at the lcd and almost deleted it. Luckily I didn’t – the strobes created an effected better than any of my shutter drags ever could. After converting it to black and white, it looks incredible and has become one of my most popular images.
Lesson learned: No matter how much you don’t like a photo, never delete any. Storage is cheap :)
Hey Baby,
I think you have a gift! Fabulous photo, especially since I was with you!
