This is one of the nine mouse sculptures which can be found on Main Street in Greenville. The objective is to encourage family outings to search for the mice. As a result I will not share the location of this mouse. However, there are some official hints and the story behind the mouse sculptures at the GreeterGreenville website … You may remember a previous photo I have posted showing the photographing of a mouse sculpture. In today’s photo the mouse is way above our heads. I did not have a long lens on my camera so I took the shot blind, standing on my tip-toes and holding the camera fully extended above my head.

What a fine way to get folks out and looking at things. Great idea the city fathers had.
the way you shot it reminds me to my 1st attempted and still the only one to made a night shot of the shopping street down town which I’ve posted once….GOSH,I clicked the link and I was shocked how tiny is the mice!
I’ve lived in Greenville for more than 18 years, but I’ve never gone and looked for the mice. Shame on me!
Wow! Shooting blind? Great shot! Cute mouse.
Great shot indeed! It always amazes me to watch photographers hold their cameras up over their heads and just aim blind!
I have often glanced around for the mice, even on ledges that are at least level with me, but never really look UP. No wonder i have only found 1 so far :-)
Brilliant shot, Denton. I’m going downtown tomorrow. Hopefully, I’ll find a few of them, if not all. :)
Lavender Lady (Norma), it is lots of fun to watch the kids who find a mouse.
Beetle, yes it was a very small mouse sculpture.
Galley, I’m glad to be of service. Let us know how many your find. But don’t post the locations.
Lessie, thank you.
Ann, the official hints may help you find them.
Jefferson, thank you and best wishes on your mouse hunt. Let us know how many you find.
