The sign in the window says “Grand Opening August 29th” … To some people this may be just another grocery store. However, for those of us who live downtown this will be “our store” … Can your tell I’m exicited? Our condo complex is a short four blocks away.

Oh yippee! this will be great and since I want to live downtown or at the very least within walking distance … when the time comes for me to move to Greenville, it is good to know there will be a nearby grocery store to walk to.

While the McAlister Square Publix will still be closer for me, I can see myself stopping at this one, say, after a Greenville Drive game.

I’m excited about this too! I live in Hampton Pinckney and the nearest grocery store is the downtown Bi-Lo which leaves much to be desired. I won’t have to drive all the way to Pleasantburg to go to Publix now!

Barb, yes a lot of work is still underway.
Galley, there is also a Staples at McBee Station so you may want to combine your shopping trips.
Tiffany, we have shopped at the downtown Bi-Lo but chose to drive to the Publix on Pelham instead.
Neva, I’ll share a photo after the complex is complete.
Kate, we have Whole Foods, Earth Fare, and Fresh Market in Greenville. All are worth some extra drive time when purchasing meat, fruit, of vegetables.
Jenny, I’ll keep a watch for signs which might indicate when the McBee Station apartments will open leasing. There is still a lot of work underway on them. However, I suspect they will start leasing before construction is complete.
