The entrance to Coffee Underground at twilight in downtown Greenville, SC In the comments from a recent post about Coffee Underground a reader asked if the restaurant was actaully underground. So in response today I am sharing a photo of the entrance to Coffee Underground. The photo was taken at twilight.

It is. But the photo shows more. First that it’s well done and I love those few lights and colours. Second that a part nice breakfast I think possible to have a good beer at evening, isn’t it?

Nice atmosphere. I’d like to be sitting there. Love the light and shadows and the blue.

Fabrizio, yes they support a vibrant nightlife as well as an outstanding breakfast, lunch, and midday treats.

Ben, thank you. I was pleased with the lighting and the atmosphere.

Jilly, they have lots of atmosphere inside as well.

Ann, funny but a few years back I did the carpool dad thing for my youngest daughter and her friends. Often I would drop them off and pick them up at Coffee Underground. However, I never went in until we moved downtown. Now it is one of our favorite haunts’.

Susan, thank you.

Meg, it was very pleasant that evening.

Annie, thank you. Taking photos at twilight is one of my favorite times of day.

Love the colours and textures. An unusual angle - but it has really worked.

Brilliant work, Denton. Now I have another clue, as to where the Coffee Underground is located. :)

I believe it is located on the corner of Coffee and Main, down town ;)
