I found this scene interesting … The guys in the photo found the scene interesting as well … Yesterday, I showed the back of the building with a guard dog sign. In that post I said I was sure there was no dog. The reason is this big hole in the wall … A sign says the construction is for a restaurant called Pomegranate on Main. The sign says the Pomegranate on Main is a traditional Persian cuisine opening in the Summer of 2007.

People love watching other people work, don’t they? I wonder if workers mind being watched?
Such a small machine for a big job. I am guessing it is quite a stretch to get any load into that truck.

When the Maytag repairman came to my house the other day, he entertained me and my husband with one story after another. I think he wanted us to sit and watch and listen, and we were delighted to do so.
Jilly, you are correct. Watching people work is a pass time enjoyed around the world … Several years ago I had lunch on grandstands the city had put up at a public works project such that the office workers could watch the progress.
Abraham, the machine was used to break up the old concrete. I was not there to see how the pieces of concrete were loaded into the truck.

Ann, the construction is near the Go Fish store at 612 S. Main Street. It is very close to the entrance to Falls Park.
Annie, the Maytag repairman has a fond place in everyone’s heart. Mostly due to the commercials we grew up with. It is nice to see a real Maytag repairman living up to the image.
Maybe if the bald man in the light blue denim shirt and light blue denim shorts OWNED the large dump truck it wouldn’t be such a bad thing for him to watch an EMPLOYEE do the job right.
