Last night I returned home from a visit with my mother. While at the Greenville Spartanburg (GSP) airport I took this photo. We were waiting for our luggage, which was checked at plane side. I just happened to have a camera. In fact since starting Greenville Daily Photo I almost always carry a camera … Cincinnati, on the side of the plane, is advertising. The photo really is from Greenville … It is good to be home.
PS: The mystery of where the rock staircase leads will be revealed on Saturday.
PPS: Sorry I was not able to show photos from Greenville’s 4th of July celebration. I was landing at the airport as the fireworks were going off. I did take a few photos from the airplane however I am sure they will not turn out given the lighting … I’ll look around for some links to other Greenville photographers who captured the celebration.

It’s hard to get these night shots; you’ve done this nicely- a hum and a glow from the lighting…
Nice photo of Cincinnati.

I like how they added a picture on the side of the plane. Never seen one before where they did this.
Glad you made it home ok. Talk soon!
Whenever I get back home I turn into Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. I repeat, “it’s good to be home” over and over. I imagine you might have been saying the same thing when you stepped off the plane.
Pedp, thank you. And this photo was taken with my Cannon Power Shot SD450. it really does not have the lens necessary for a night photo.
Abraham, I have a reputation to uphold so I have to point out that the photo was in Greenville of the Greenville airport. The plane was from Cincinnati. But I did worry about posting a photo which might mislead the readers.
Barb, a great photo showing Disney Characters on the side of a plane was recently posted by Kim from Seattle Daily Photo.
Leonda, for safety reasons I don’t mention on my blog when I am out of town. However, I like to announce when I return. That way if local readers will understand why I had recently posted some older photos.
Annie, that is a good analogy … I have noticed that the day before I fly home I whistle more than normal. There really is no place like home.
My spam words was “great”. it is great you had a safe trip. Thanks for all of your help via the internet.
