I have shown several photos of these rock staircases but I don’t think I have shared this angle before. Previous photos of these staircases can be seen here and here. These staircases provide adventure for the young and the young at heart.
Alice, yes children add flowers add to the enjoyment of any photo … Sadly given my “flower knowledge handicap” I did not know the flowers in the photos were azaleas. Please feel free to comment on all my flower post with the proper name … I will reveal where the stair lead on Saturday. So check back to see.
Pedp, I did not realize a mystery had been started. However, since multiple bloggers have asked on Saturday I will post the answer as to where the stair lead.
Barb, thank you. Personally I like the staircase photo which plays with light and shadows.
Sonia, thank you. Did you like how the other photos appear using a lightbox effect?
Cheryl, these staircases are in the Cancer Survivors Park which is attached to Falls Park. Find the Liberty bridge, stand in the middle of the bridge, face away from downtown, and the Cancer Survivors Park will be on your right. You will see an open air stage. Walk past than and you will be treated with these wonderful staircases.
I love the stairs and have walked up them. One of the things I love about Greenville is that remnants of the old are kept for use or just wonderful visuals adding to the scenery.
I like these three photos but, of course, this one with children and azales is my favorite! I wish I knew where these stairs lead…
beautiful shot… a mystery contained within the frame.
I like photos like these. Love the angle you chose.
