Oops, I was not fast enough to introduce you to our neighbor. However, the photo does a good job showing that bicycling is becoming more popular in Greenville. Another of our neighbors and friends purchased herself a bicycle yesterday. Connie and I have discussed the possibility however we will most likely put off purchasing bicycles until September when we can enjoy the cooler weather.

Compared to my previous post, about kids playing the fountain, this photo shows that kids can be of all ages … I found this photo endearing. To me it says we are all kids at heart.
Actually a lot is happening in Greenville this weekend and local readers may be too busy to set and relax. The Scottish bag pipe parade was on Friday, followed by music, and then the Scottish games on Saturday. Sadly, I am out of town and will miss the event for the second year in a row. I return today (Sunday) however it will be to late to capture a photo of men from Greenville proudly wearing their kilts.

Last night, along with many others, we enjoyed Mystic Vibrations playing reggae in downtown Greenville. The music was great, the crowd was large, and interestingly there were a lot of young children dancing.
This is the latest type of flower to appear on Main Street in downtown Greenville. Yesterday, when I took this photo it was because a good friend had recently sent a card to Connie and I. The card had sunflowers on the front. I know this because our good friend, who knows I am flower knowledge challenged, was kind enough to point out the type of flower. The flowers in today’s photo remind me of sunflowers however they are different. Hopefully several of my readers will share their knowledge and let me know what type of flower is shown in today’s photo.
