I felt this photo would add some nice color to our photoblog. The restaurant is called Smoke on the Water. The statue is of Shoeless Joe Jackson.

I’ve never been to Smoke, but I’ve been downstairs to Saffron’s for an early lunch on a spring Sunday. It’s quite nice.

Olivier, thank you. The statue is a special significance to Greenville in that Shoes Joe Jackson is a home town hero.

Matt, a lot of people disagree. Smoke on the Water is always busy and when they leave most people have a smile of satisfaction.
