June 27, 2007 - Yellow, blue, and red

Yellow and blue in front of Smoke on the Water in downtown Greenville, SC I felt this photo would add some nice color to our photoblog. The restaurant is called Smoke on the Water. The statue is of Shoeless Joe Jackson.

One of my favorite places for an adult beverage downtown. I have always loved the door on that wall…. quite a step down, that’s for sure. Not much of a balcony huh? : D Keep up the great work Denton.

I’ve never been to Smoke, but I’ve been downstairs to Saffron’s for an early lunch on a spring Sunday. It’s quite nice.

Lavender Lady (Norma), yes Smoke on the Water it is a good for lunch and dinner as well.

Olivier, thank you. The statue is a special significance to Greenville in that Shoes Joe Jackson is a home town hero.

Rock, I’ll have to check the door out for a photo opportunity.

Carla, we enjoy Saffron’s regularly and I agree it is quite nice.

Nice atmosphere but the food is awful.

Matt, a lot of people disagree. Smoke on the Water is always busy and when they leave most people have a smile of satisfaction.
