June 26, 2007 - A fence preserved in the Cancer Survivors

The fence is preserved at the Cancer Survivors Park in downtown Greenville, SC I find admirable the effort put forth to perserve this fence in the Cancer Survivors Park in downtown Greenville. You can access their website here. Following are links to previous post about the Cancer Survivors Park here and here.

Yes, the sign seems more solid than the fence!

I wonder why somebody has not pulled the fence back upright? Seems like the citizen thing to do. Otherwise it will fall down.

Nice photo of a tired old fence.

Alice, it is an interesting approach. Preserving the past with a modern sign.

Abraham, maybe every time it is up righted someone leans on the fence. Maybe this approach results in a fence people are afraid to lean on.

Mandy, yes either someone leaned on the fence or age has taken its tool.

Pedp, thank you.
