May 11, 2007 - Moonlight Movies

The crowd at the Moonlight Movies in downtown Greenville, SC Wednesday night we enjoyed our favorite downtown event, the Moonlight Movies at the amphitheater behind the Peace Center next to the Reedy River. You can see from the photo there was a large crowd. For our local readers a word of advice, if you go be sure and show up early. Also, bring a meal and wine to enjoy the full experience. Extra photos today include the inflating the screen and watching the Love Bug.

I adjusted it to make it more eye friendly, because I couldn’t see people there sitting on grass, sorry:)

Inspired, thank you.

Aigars, your adjustment does show the crowd better. However, personally I like the one posted. It think it is highlights the richness of the sky and the joy of being outside.

How cool! I had no idea “they” did this. So neat!

I’ve always thought this is so cool. I saw the movie schedule a month or so ago, and my husband and I are planning to be out there on the 30th to see the 1978 Superman. I’m totally psyched!

Yes, a good meal and a bottle of wine would help make The Love Bug worthwhile. Of course, I’m sure I’d be watching the crowd most of the evening.

Inspired, thank you.

Aigars, thanks for the enhanced view.

Olivier, I’m pleased you like the lightbox effect I have implemented.

Lessie, the city of Greenville puts on five shows in the Spring and then five shows again in the Fall.

Carla, we will be out of town on the 30th. Sorry we will miss it.

Annie, much to my surprise I enjoyed the Love Bug. I laughed and laughed.
