This photo is of the Interval Mountain Fall sculpture in downtown Greenville. The sculpture was created by Philip Whitley and can be found in front of the Carolina First building. If any local readers have heard an explanation for the name of the sculpture please share it.

I came from the Michelangelo school and have a hard time appreciating modern sculpture. Our town library has a “family” done is flat stainless steel sheet that was brushed or burnished. It is akin to stick figures. Your piece today, at least, has some depth and is solid-looking.
I really like your photograph in the capture of the piece. I think it is very good.
Today I show my wife, of 52 years, and President Bush’s jet that is carrying his automobiles.
