I found a serene photo to escape into when I selected this photo from my archives. The scene is of the Cancer Survivor’s Park in downtown Greenville. You may remember this photo taken on the same day.Â
I am so sad for the parents, families and friends of those students who lost their lives in Monday’s horrid killings at Virginia Tech.

Yes, it is a serene scene. I, too, wish calm and strength to the survivors of the Virginia Tech shootings.
As my anti-spam word says to me… gorgeous photo Denton!
And yes, that’s a sad story. I just find horrible that some people coulb make thins kind of damage. That’s a mad world where we are living on
A beautiful photograph. And a note. My wife has her last radiation treatment today (33 total).Yipee.
Denton, A loving tribute to the victims and survivors of this terrible tragedy that has again visited our nation. In addition, my heart also weeps for the parents of the perpetrator; I’m sure they are getting little sympathy but what hell they must be going through!
I wish your wife good health and much happiness in the coming months and years. You must be a tower of strength for her. God Bless, both of you!
Thanks for the camera information on my question of April 10. I have beening traveling several days and this is the first time that I have been able to visit your site after my return.
The flower shots are wonderful, it is great that we have the technology to capture and hold such beauty that only lasts such a short time. If only there was way to get everyone to see the beauty that surrounds us.
The photograph is a beautiful tribute — white flowers.
Just beautiful…A wonderfully captured shot!
Thank you for your comments.
Personally I think now is the time to greave. Latter society can debate the cause.
Out of a sense of appropriate timing, not disagreement with comments made, for the next month I am removing any comments on this post which address the cause of these horrid killings.
My wish is that the victims rest in peace and their loved ones find the strength to get though their ordeal.
