Saturday night we ate at the new High Cotton restaurant in downtown Greenville. This photo is of the Maverick Bar and Grill at the restaurant. The food and ambiance was very good. The soufflé was outstanding … From a photographic stand point the lighting was an interesting challenge. This outside view of the restaurant shows the lighting as well.

The sign said “World Tai Chi & Qi Gong Day” and I understand from the literature handed out that the Falun Gong was being demonstrated. The literature indicated that Falun Gong practitioners are persecuted in China … This close up view shows more detail.
On my walk to work Friday I noticed this family of ducklings. After taking several photos I was must pleased this photo showing the wake these little guys created.
You may remember my post from April 14th showing members of the Clemson Jazz Band. Today’s photo was taken the same night. Do you think the band leader is frowning at me?

Yesterday at lunch I went looking for a photo opportunity and downtown Greenville did not disappoint me. As I walked past Wachovia Place I heard music and noticed a crowd. It turned out there were dance lessons underway which I much enjoyed watching.
