Spring blooms are everywhere. To find a photo which shares this with you I took a walk Thursday evening and found this tree in Cleveland Park. What attracted me to the photo was the park bench. It must have been time to take a rest because I sure enjoyed the bench.

I found this car interesting and admire the owners passion. Click here to see a close up view so you can read the stickers. Click here to see a close up view of the stickers on the side door. The sticker I like the most says “Take nothing but pictures leave nothing but footprints”. My wife likes the sticker which says “Eve was framed”
My wife is traveling. She is at a conference so I’m “batching” it this week. As a result I chose to share what a bachelor’s supper looks like. Also, this gives me an opportunity to show how space is utilized in a 1,000 square foot condo in downtown Greenville. Our bedroom is to the right. We have an office on the left. The room shown serves as kitchen, dinning room, and living room. We are especially pleased with hardwood floors and the 12 foot ceilings. Our two daughter’s photos are on the walls … PS: I had grilled steak, cottage cheese, and tomatoes for supper. What do you eat when your loved one is out of town?
Ann asked if we had windows in our condo … Yes, we have windows in each of the three rooms in our condo. The bedroom, office, and living area. We purchased and installed the plantation shutters to give us privacy. Following are a few photos which give you a feel for the windows. First, a photo of my wife saying welcome to our condo on the day we purchased it, next the furniture on our condo balcony which the windows behind the shutters opens on to, and lastly the view the courtyard looking our the bedroom window. I am surprised by how few photos I have of our condo. I will have to fix that.
Recently I saw this unique method to advertise a website. I knew the Daily Photo bloggers would be interested. Actually I recommend an alternative which has worked for us. Periodically we create greeting cards using a photo posted on GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com and mail them to local businesses.
One more photo of the mountains and then I will move on to other subjects. This photo shows Paris Mountain which is 10 minutes from downtown Greenville. In addition to outstanding views there is also a state park on the mountain with a lake often used by swimmers … I’m back from a vacation to Taos Ski Valley in New Mexico. Close to where Helen publishes Albuquerque Daily Photo. Following are four thumbnails of the Rocky Mountains where I skied. Click on them to see larger images.
While looking for photo opportunities recently I noticed this caution sign at a renovation project in downtown Greenville. Naturally I had to see what was on the other side.
