Tiffany commented yesterday that she would take Cherry trees over Bradford Pears because they smell better. So today I share a photo of Cherry trees putting on a show as they lose their petals. The photo was taken behind the Peace Center where a pool catches the petals as they fall. The pool is part of a water fountain which causes the water and petals to slowly circulate … To see some truly remarkable nature photos check out Chuck Bishop’s photos.

I have a very full cherry tree right out my front window of my townhouse. It is beautiful when in full bloom but too soon they start to lose their petals.

Kris, thank you. This is one photo I may try to take a second time. I have seen examples of slow exposure photos showing leaves in a pool. If I can this weekend I’m going to give it a try.
Dsole, thank you and your welcome.
Ann, a big front window is always nice.
Lessie, yes you should take a look.

:D I like the Pear & Cheryy flowers…when the gentle breeze blows, the tiny leaves are falling slowly…that is a very beautiful and amazing view for me.
and when the ground is covered by that crispy leaves….you just dare not step so random.

This looks like a pleasant place to sit, rest, and reflect! Yes, the link is to a very talented photographer. Lots of equipment, too.
